Larry William Connell, 65, of Worth County, GA, passed away Monday, December 29, 2025 at his home surrounded by family and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 11:00 am at Mathews Funeral Home. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate.
Larry was born on January 17, 1960 in Albany, GA to the late William and Evelyn Connell. He grew up in Albany, GA and graduated from Dougherty High School in 1978. Larry was employed with Thompson Tire Company as General Manager for over twenty-five years. He enjoyed fishing and loved playing music and singing in a local band. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pam Lee Jones.
Survivors include his children, Nick Connell of Albany, GA and Kain Connell of Worth County, GA and his brothers, Tony Connell of Montgomery, AL and Don Connell of Albany, GA.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
