Larry Cromley, 72, of Grain Valley, Missouri, passed away on October 16, 2025.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st at 2:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at 3:00 p.m., both at Royer Funeral Home in Grain Valley, Missouri.

Larry was born on March 23, 1953, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Patrick and Hellen (Sharit) Cromley. He lived in Grain Valley for 47 years and was deeply rooted in his community and family.

A lifelong fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, Larry enjoyed life's simple pleasures-cooking, gardening, photography, golfing, and whale watching. Maui held a special place in his heart. He also loved his dogs dearly and took great pride in his family. He was especially proud of his son and daughter and adored all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Larry's faith was the cornerstone of his life. He wanted nothing more than for everyone to accept the Lord as their Savior so that they could all spend eternity together. He was a loving, devoted husband whose kindness and faith touched all who knew him.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Kenneth Cromley and Dennis Cromley; his sister, Linda Cromley; his stepson, Eric D. Carroll; and his son-in-law, Jason L. Ward.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathy Cromley of Grain Valley, Missouri; his son, Charles J. Cromley (Sarah) of Grain Valley, Missouri; his daughter, Dana L. Wilson (Justin) of Grain Valley, Missouri; his grandchildren, Erica Nelson of Grain Valley, Missouri, Eric Carroll of Independence, Missouri, Corbin Cromley, Tyler Cromley, Jaxson Cromley, Jules Ward, and Vera Ward, all of Grain Valley, Missouri; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Cathy Cromley and Patricia Cromley, both of Blue Springs, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

Larry will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his generous heart, and the deep love he shared with his family.
