Larry Dailey Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, Inc. - Morehead on Nov. 3, 2022.
Larry David Dailey, age 68, of Clayton Lane, Morehead, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, November 2, 2022.
Born March 21, 1954, in Fleming County, Larry was the son of the late Ira Dailey and Rosa Hyatt Dailey. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Vernon Paul, Billy Joe, Audrey Harold "Bud," and Ira Dailey, Jr., and one sister, Penny Christine McGuire.
Larry leaves behind to grieve three brothers, Estill Dailey of Statesboro, Georgia, and Donnie Dailey of Springfield, Georgia, and Timothy "Timmy" Dailey of Winchester, three sisters, Shirley (Rick) Flynn of Charlestown, Indiana, Brenda (Curtis Buck) Brown of Xenia, Ohio, and Elaine (Scott) Cummins of Wallingford; special cousins, Robbie and Byron Hyatt, who were as close as brothers; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, and church family.
He was a self-employed home improvement contractor. Larry had many interests but the top of his list was reading the Bible and quizzing everyone on their knowledge of God's word. He was a member of Crain Creek Christian Church where he attended faithfully until his illness made it difficult. Larry was greatly loved and will be remembered always.
Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Crain Creek Christian Church, 18300 Morehead Road, Wallingford, KY 41093, with Brother Scott Cummins and Brother Charlie Hamm officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Barry Amburgy, Mike Storey, Scott Cummins, Kevin Cummins, Matt McKinney, and Mason Horrell. Honorary pallbearers: Donnie Dailey, Robbie Hyatt, Timothy "Timmy" Dailey, and James Flynn.
Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
