COLLEGE CORNER — Larry L. Danley, 73, of College Corner, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at McCullough-Hyde Hospital in Oxford.
He was born April 26, 1949, in Canton, to the late Lawrence C. and Anna L. (Porter) Danley. Larry was a U.S. Navy veteran and member of the American Legion Post #215, Eaton; was a lifetime member of the NRA; was an avid bowler; and worked for Ohio Casualty Insurance for 38 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother Richard Danley.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Cecilia Danley of College Corner; daughters Lucinda Danley (Steve West) of Hamilton and Jessica (Jeremy) DeHart of West Alexandria; grandchildren Aaron Raney, Christopher West, Stephen West, Matthew DeHart, Samuel DeHart, and Anna DeHart; and his beloved sainted dog "Charo."
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 13, from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at noon at the Gard Funeral Home, 226 W. Main Street, Eaton, with Pastor Scott Moler officiating. Burial will follow at Beechwood Cemetery in Morning Sun.

When I joined the tech group at Ohio Casualty, Larry took me under his wing and introduced me to the `world of DB2´. We worked together for many years and he was a great friend and mentor. His love for his family was always evident through all the stories he would share. I am so very sorry for your loss.
