Larry Dockins Obituary
Born Sept. 8, 1943 in Datto AR, he was a son of Len and Trellis (Forbes) Dockins.
Larry worked for himself in small engine repair. He had a shop in Jennings, MO and repaired all kinds of engines including lawnmowers. Everyone knew him and loved him. He was a good storyteller, and many of his stories turned out to be jokes.
He is survived by his children, Lynn Dockins and Larry Dockins, Jr., both of Alton, Stephanie Ray of Sinclair, MO, Krystal Dockins of Alton, and Kendra Dockins and her fiancée Tim Artis of Union, MO; 5 grandchildren and one great granddaughter; his twin sister, Laura Laughlin; a brother, Denzil Dockins of Wisconsin; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family; and his former wife, Ronda Degonia of Cadet, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his previous wives Barbara and Dorothy; a sister, Thelma Haskins; and 3 brothers, Jesse Dockins, John Dockins, and Carroll Vernon Dockins.
The family will hold a memorial service at 12 p.m. Friday, May 24 at the Greater Alton Church in Rosewood Heights.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family to assist with expenses.

My name is Harold Counts. I first met Latty back about 1965 at the old hodges roller rink. Larry was well liked and he was very smart.I ran around with lim for several years and when i moved i lost contact with him.ill always remember Larry as being a good friend.
