Larry Arthur Foister

Larry Arthur Foister was born October 21, 1945, in Chehalis, Washington to Marion and Gladys Foister. He passed at his home in Willcox, Arizona on Thursday, December 25, 2025, at the age of 80. Larry attended WF West High School, graduating in 1964. Larry lived his whole life in the Chehalis area, except for a brief stay at Fort Ord, California for the Army in 1968. Larry is survived by his wife Sally (LaBarre) Foister, whom he married on June 25th, 1966. Larry worked at several places, including Date Lumber Mill, Hemphill O'Neil, Moduline Industries, Allen Homes Olympia, and Washington State Department of Transportation, retiring after 33 years. Larry and Sally's daughters are Jennifer (John Ritchie) and Yvonne (Ryan Toland). They have 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, all of which survive him. Also surviving Larry is his brother Stephen Foister (Maralee) of Chehalis, Washington; their sons Brandon Foister and family; Alex Foister and family of Centralia, Washington. Larry was a life member and Past Master of Newaukum Grange #198 Chehalis, Life member Centralia Masonic Lodge 63, Worthy Royal Patron Chehalis Eastern Star #3, Chehalis Royal Patron Amaranth #55, American Legion, VFW, Past Associate Guardian Chehalis Jobs Daughters #73. Larry enjoyed camping with family, fishing, clam-digging, and working on the family farm. He was preceded in death by his parents Marion and Gladys Foister and his brother Lester Glen Foister. A memorial service will be held later in the spring in Arizona.
