Larry A. Franks of Millersburg, 78 years old, peacefully passed away March 26th, 2025 at Ohio's Hospice LifeCare house of Wooster, after a period of declining health.
Larry was born April 6th, 1946 in Holmes County to Ralph and M. Lucille (Shoup) Franks and married to Bonnie (Vaubel) Franks.
Well, the outfit of it is, Larry Allen Franks was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather whose kindness touched the lives of many. His unwavering love for his family was the foundation of his life, always offering support and laughter in every gathering.
Larry had a strong passion for fast muscle cars and spent many happy hours in his garage. He worked at Rubbermaid for 37 years and attended Fusion Community Church. He was a graduate of Big Prairie High School in 1964.
He is survived by children: Shawn (Sonja) Franks, Josh (Tanya) Franks, Denise (Phil) Schlabach, and Amy (Nate) Snyder; daughters-in-law: Ada Franks and Judy Franks; grandchildren: Seth (Michelle) Franks, Kaitlyn Weese, Zack Miller, Zack Franks, Ashley Steffen, Zach Steffen, Rachael (Colton) Boggs, Luke Franks, Garrett Franks, Summer Franks, Charlee Franks, Adam Franks, Laci (Aiden Ward) Snyder, Jaret (Rebecca Bertram) Snyder, Ashton Snyder, Andrew (Alison) Schlabach, Philip (Cortnee Amos) Schlabach, and Olivia (Logan) Garrett; and siblings: Doris (Ray) Nickle, Marilyn Sigler, Carolyn (Robert) Remington, Linda (Richard) Collins, Gerald (Gloria) Franks, and Kenny (Pat) Franks.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Maxine (Donald) Miller, Cecil (Kathie) Franks,Tom (Betty) Franks, Donny Wayne (Julie) Franks, Richard Franks, Robert Franks, and Cordelia (Don) Tate; and two sons: Stacy Franks and Shannon Franks.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 29th at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with Pastor Jason Snyder officiating. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, Shreve, Ohio. Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Those wishing to share a memory or make online condolences may do so by visiting www.alexanderfhinc.com.
