Larry Gallegos Obituary
Larry Joe Gallegos, 56, of Aztec passed away on September 21, 2025. He is survived by his parents Joe Ross and Nioma Gallegos; sisters, Monica (Gregg) Whitford and Melody Gallegos; nephews, Gregg Joseph (Samantha) and Michael; and niece, Feliz Whitford. Larry was a Safeway employee for 35 years. He loved gardening, traveling, and baking. He radiated his love for God by treating everyone with love and kindness.
A rosary will be held at 10 am on September 29th at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Aztec followed by Mass at 10:30. Burial will be at the Aztec Cemetery. Reception will follow at the parish hall.

My sincere condolences to the family. Larry was one of my first YCC crew at Aztec Ruins National Monument and World Heritage Site. He was a hard worker and never shyed away from our duties. He was always cheerful. Full circle he was my granddaughter's supervisor in her first job! May he Rest in Peace and May the Perpetual Light shine upon him forever

Larry was such a welcomed site every time we shopped at Safeway. When the Corporation took him to Farmington, we were sad then SO excited when they sent him back. His smile, friendliness and superb customer service will be missed in a world where people like Larry were far and few between. RIP Larry.
