Graveside Services for Larry Dean Gary will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Terry County Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Chris Seaton officiating. Services are under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home
Larry passed away peacefully on November 8, 2023, at the age of 86. He was born on September 26, 1937, in Seagraves, Texas, to Lewis Elbert & Flora Mae Gary.
Larry led a life filled with hard work and compassion. He was known for his intelligence and incredible kindness. Larry found solace and joy in tending to his beloved garden, nurturing plants with care and watching them flourish. In his free time, he could often be found engrossed in a good book, expanding his knowledge and exploring new worlds through literature.
With a deep sense of patriotism, Larry served his country in the United States Air Force with honor and distinction. He dedicated himself to protecting the freedoms that we hold dear, and his service will always be remembered and appreciated.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents Lewis Elbert & Flora Mae Gary; and two sisters, Billie Toles and June Strickland.
He is survived by a niece, Sharon Pike; and two nephews, Gary Toles and John Toles.
