Larry L. Goldsberry, 88 of Fremont, NE, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025, in Fremont. He was born March 7, 1937, in Fremont to Chester and Eleanor (Bozarth) Goldsberry.
Larry entered the US Army and served from January 17, 1956 to January 5, 1958. He married Beverly Hovendick on December 7, 1962, at Hooper, NE. She preceded him in death on May 29, 2022. Larry worked at Hormel in Fremont for 40 years and retired in 1999. He then worked at Midland University until 2017.
Larry was a member of First United Methodist Church, Fremont Anglers, Ft. Atkinson Muzzleloaders Club, Izzak Walton and the UFCW Union in Fremont and was past union rep and spokesperson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Beverly.
Survived by son, Tim (Kerrie) Goldsberry; and daughter, Tami (Gerald) Honeywell all of Fremont; brother, Gary Goldsberry of Florida; and sister, Judy Jones of Arizona; four grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorial Service 10 a.m., Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont followed by military honors. Visitation will be on Monday from 5 to 7 p.m., also at Moser's.
Private inurnment at Memorial Cemetery Gazebo in Fremont.
Memorials to Ft. Atkinson Muzzleloaders Club.
