Larry Gray, a devoted father and cherished member of his community, passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on March 28, 1953, in Sheffield, Vermont, Larry's enduring legacy will be remembered through his loving family, close friends, and his unwavering dedication to both his work and community.

For most of his life, Larry dedicated himself to farming, nurturing the land with a passion that reflected his heart of gold. In his later years, he shared his skills and commitment to service as the handyman for Leonardsville Church, where his contributions were invaluable and his presence cherished.

Larry had a unique knack for creating joyful memories. His whimsical spirit came to light when he took his donkey to the Verona Church's Nativity Scene, ensuring that the occasion was imbued with a touch of life and laughter. He delighted in spending time with his children, often sharing meals that created bonds of love and joy.

In addition to his career, Larry was an avid outdoorsman who found great pleasure in hunting and fishing, activities that allowed him to connect deeply with nature and spend quality time with his friends and family.

Larry's family was his proudest accomplishment. He leaves behind his beloved children: Nathan Gray, Larry Gray Jr., Beckylee Gray, Desiree Gray, Tami Gray, JC Gray, and Isabella Cole. He is also survived by his siblings Sally, Juanita, Lee, Clem, and Lovia, along with numerous grandchildren who will carry on his legacy of love. Larry has been preceded in death by his siblings Harold, Carlton, Roscoe, and Rita, who remain in the hearts of those who remember them.

Larry Gray’s generous spirit and lifelong devotion to his family and community will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the stories shared and the love that continues to bind his family together.
