“Mousie” Berryman Dewayne Gray
Born May 20, 1942 in Green County, Arkansas to Garland and Mildred (Jernigan) Gray. He was raised in Paragould, Arkansas amongst many friends and a large extended family.
He married his high school sweetheart on September 3, 1961 and loved her well for 64 years. Together, they raised three sons and one daughter keeping them busy with every sport which he fully loved and participated in. After he retired from the Union Pacific Railroad he spoiled, laughed with and loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He passed away peacefully at home on Dec 1, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
He is survived by his wife Brenda (Hatcher), sons Scott, Ronnie (Rhonda), Billy (Jodi) and daughter Kristy (Chris) Lashbrook, eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren and one sister Rheba Scobey of Rector AR.
He will be missed and remembered.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel with Pastor Tommy Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the Lightner Cemetery.
