Larry Dean Groves, 83, of Fort Smith, Arkansas entered into glory at Baptist Health after a short illness on Sunday, July 16th, 2023. Larry was born in Goshen, Indiana to Merlin and Clarica Groves on February 10, 1940. Larry was retired from R&R Donnelley printing company after many years. Having a servant's heart, Larry was previously affiliated for 20 years with End Time Hand Maidens and Servants-Global Outpouring, missionary, intercessory ministry in Jasper, Arkansas. Answering the call of 11 years ago, he became assistant Pastor of Our Father's Heart Ministries including overseeing Our Father's Heart food pantry. Larry faithfully assisted numerous families in the community. He was presently a covenant member of Kingdom Living Ministries, leadership of Apostle Bobby Hogan and Prophetess Teresa Hogan. Many years he enjoyed various sports, fishing, being a servant, Jesus, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Merlin and Clarica Groves, an infant brother, and late wife Joyce Groves of Warsaw, Indiana. Larry is survived by his wife Marilyn Blaylock-Groves of Fort Smith, Arkansas, daughter Tirzah and husband Shane Miles of Warsaw, Indiana, son Michael Groves of Warsaw, Indiana, daughter Sondra and husband Luke Woodard of Melbourne, Florida, son Jon Jon Groves of Fort Smith, Arkansas, step-son Billy Smith and wife Elizabeth of Van Buren, Arkansas including 14 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren, brothers Marion Groves or Warsaw, Indiana and Galen Richard Groves and wife Marilyn of North Manchester, Indiana. Larry (Grandpa) is loved and missed by many, yet our hearts are comforted when we think of his rewards and that he is in the presence of Jesus. May your hearts be comforted.
Visitation with family and friends will be at Lewis Funeral Chapel (4817 Kelley Hwy, Fort Smith, Arkansas) from 5-7pm on Thursday, July 20th. Celebration of Life Service will be held at Kingdom Living Ministries Campus (4401 Windsor Drive, Fort Smith, Arkansas) at 10 am Friday on July 21st. Graveside burial will follow at Russell Cemetary in Belleville, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to Kingdom Living Ministries mission fund, Global Outpouring Ministry in Jasper, Arkansas, or House of Peace in Jerusalem, Israel.

Larry was at the River Valley Regional Food Bank weekly picking up food for Our Father's Heart pantry in Fort Smith. He loved the mission of feeding those in need and loved the Lord. We will miss him dearly as he was a great guy who just loved helping those in need. Our prayers are with his family at this difficult time. We will miss you Larry.

Bill and I will always remember Brother Larry´s smile and big hugs, his faithfulness to God, family, and church! We enjoyed and were very blessed by the shofar sounds at church. Brother Larry was a pro in blowing the shofar! We will miss Brother Larry´s presence! What a day of rejoicing when we meet again in Heaven!!! Our heartfelt love goes out to Sister Marilyn and Gunter! We are praying for all the family.
