Larry Joe "Hercules" Billy Harrell (sunrise April 15, 1958) – (sunset July 22, 2025) Was born in Detroit April 15, 1958 to the parents of Joe and Susie Harrell. Larry or (Hercules) as he was affectionately know as by many, had confess Jesus Christ long before his peaceful passing at home on July 22. He went to Detroit Public Schools, Job Corp and enlisted in the U.S Army at the age of 19 where he served and retired after 11 years of service. Larry retired to New Jersey making Asbury Park, Neptune and Newark his playground, Working hard and having fun. Larry made huge strides in making a difference in his community and in the lives of so many young people he mentored, counseled and taught. His hard work, dedication and passion was recognized by the city of Newark and former governor of NJ,Jim McGreevey.
One of his proudest moments. Hercules loved to flex his muscles to show people how strong He was. He loved a good competition. He enjoyed playing Sports, Chess, Cards and Dominos with family and friends. He loved to travel and loved to laugh.
Larry Joe Hercules Billy Harrell is predeceased by his parents Joe and Susie Harrell and his sister JoAnne (Ferlando). Larry leaves to cherish (Four Kids): Larry Harrell Jr. Dionne Harrell, Jicela Orr, Shannon Mills-Whitledge (Six Grandchildren): Arian, Arianna, Angel, Lauren, Akaiah, Kamden (Four fur grandchildren):Lucile, Django, Lola and Daminick (Five Siblings): Betty (Will Sr.), Prophet Gimbu (Patricia), Mary Jane (Starling), Joe Jr. and Darrell (Angel). Last Auntie Gloria (Terrance), Childhood Sweetheart Adrienne, Former wife Arlene(J), along with his best friend's Janet, Jerry and Toni. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
