Larry Hestekin Obituary
Larry Robert Hestekin, age 78, of Mondovi, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024 at the Homeplace of Mondovi.
He was born on March 26, 1946 in Whitehall the 4th of nine children born to Ervin and Evangeline (Kolve) Hestekin.
He is survived by his siblings, Rodney (Betty) Hestekin of Chisago City, MN, Audrey (Galen) Aase of Mondovi, Carol Hollister of rural Eau Claire, Diane (Robert) Konkel of Arcadia, Dean (Jill) Hestekin of Independence and Dale (Carolyn) Hestekin of Hixton; sisters in law, Patricia Hestekin of Sugar Grove, IL and Kathy Hestekin of Pigeon Falls; also by numerous and loving nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Warren and Wayne Hestekin; nephew, Jason Hollister and niece, Jennifer Hestekin.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Lookout Lutheran Church, Town of Dover, Buffalo County, WI. Burial will follow at the Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday August 8, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Talbot Family Funeral Home, Mondovi Chapel and again at the church on Friday from 10:00 AM until the hour of the service.
