Larry Wilbert Hunt

Larry Wilbert Hunt was a great man, a man who kept his word, and a man who was admired by many. No doubt one of this world’s greatest brick masons, he is now resting in his eternal home, built on the foundation of his Savior, Jesus Christ. Larry was always a hard worker, very particular (some might say OCD) about doing things the right way. He was an incredible dad to his 2 boys, a loving Poppy to 8 grandchildren, and Grandpoppy to 5 great grandchildren. True to his nature, before leaving this earth, he gave his son, David, a thumbs up after giving instructions to tell those left behind he loves them. Although Larry didn’t go to the ocean, he loved going to the family beach house. He loved taking care of his lawn and washing the house and keeping things in order for the rest of the family to visit and enjoy. Larry was also a courtesy/transport driver for Dick Shirley Chevrolet…as close as he got to being like his Nascar hero, Dale Earnhardt.

Waiting for him to cross through the pearly gates were his mother and father, Dick and Millie Hunt; his brother, Mike Hunt; his son, Jeff Hunt; his first wife of 55 years, Sharon Martin Hunt; and his granddaughter, Rainey Hunt Sirianni.

Larry left behind his newlywed wife, Donna Sutton Hunt; his son, David Hunt (Stephanie); seven grandchildren, Jordan (Andrew), Zack (Anna), Courtney (Francisco), Hayley (Dean), Autumn (Sam), Asher, Braxton (Angel); and five great grandchildren, Beau, Lennon, Wells, Cal, and Walker.
