Larry Hursey Obituary
Larry was a longtime member and deacon of First Christian Church in Gibsonville. He was a Partner in Hursey's BarBQ, a Real Estate Investor and served as Alderman of Gibsonville. He was also a member of the Burlington Shag Club.
Survivors include his son, Larry Kent Hursey, Jr. and wife Colleen; daughter, Lorri Hursey Williams; grandchildren, Trey Hursey, Brooke Belangia, Larry Williams, Ryan Cobey, Amanda Cobey; great grandchildren, Carsyn, Kinley, Gander, Willow; brother, Charles Hursey and wife Ellen and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and a brother, Don Hursey.
A private service for the family will be held on Sunday with the burial to follow at Gibsonville City Cemetery. He will be available for public viewing from 9-4 on Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.

Larry,
I will always cherish all of the memories that we had together. You were the best friend to me and I will never forget all of the fun and laughter we shared. Every time I think of our shark fishing trip and great times dancing at the Barn I smile...the time we almost got kicked out of Bible study. Lol...I know that you will be missed by the many lives that you have touched. Miss you so much dear friend. With Love, Dee Dee
