Larry Donnell Kelly was born on September 18, 1961, in Harrisburg Pennsylvania to the late Willie J. Kelly and the late Geneva Muldrew Mills.
Larry received his formal education in the Harrisburg School District and graduated from John Harris with class of 1979. Larry worked various jobs, including Giant Foods in which he retired while providing 37 years of dedicated service to Capital Blue Cross.
Larry was a very quiet and reserved man. He was a dedicated Pittsburgh Steeler fan. Larry enjoyed men’s fashion. Terms like ’sharp as a tack’ or ‘clean as the board of health’ were used to describe how well he presented himself. Although he was well dressed, some would argue that he smelled even better. Larry had an impressive men’s fragrance collection. Along with looking and smelling good, his attire would be adorned with an extravagant watch. He collected watches. From a young age and influence from his dad, Larry had a love for cars.
Larry Kelly, at the age of 64, gained his wings and peacefully departed this life on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving wife and sister. He was preceded in death by his father Willie J Kelly and his mother Geneva Muldrew Mills.
Larry leaves behind to cherish his memories; his wife Leslie Allsup-Kelly of Harrisburg, Stepmother Sheila Davis-Kelly of Daphne, Alabama, his stepson Julian Allsup of Harrisburg, his daughter Brooke Foster (David) of Phoenix Arizona, his son Jordan Kelly (Jordan) of Harrisburg, stepbrother Keith Davis (Laura) of Portsmouth Virginia, his sister Vicki Kelly of Harrisburg, grandchildren Ayanna Allsup, Sky Kelly, Demi Foster, Drue Foster and Dani Foster, a nephew Qua’Meir Kelly his uncle Richard Kelly Sr, his aunt Lillian Bates, his uncle Coy Kelly Jr, his aunt Cynthia Kelly all of Harrisburg and his aunt Ophelia Caldwell-Dames of Broadlands Virginia, and a host of cousins and friends.
