LARRY KETTLER Obituary

LARRY KETTLER Larry Dean Kettler, 72, of Osawatomie, Kansas passed away on May 13, 2025, at home. He was born on December 2, 1952, in Paola, Kansas where he spent his childhood farming. He graduated from Paola High School and lived in the surrounding areas of Miami County before making his home in Osawatomie with his wife, Joyce Dodson. They were married on November 11, 2016. Larry was working for Pitman's Pipeline where he worked with dynamite, prior to them being purchased by HAZMAT. From there, he would be a heavy machine operator with the company as well as helping clean up any spills as needed. This was his career for 35 years before his retirement. Larry enjoyed spending his time driving his jeep around, shooting guns, and would have breakfast with the guys on Saturdays. In his younger days, he enjoyed fishing. Larry is survived by his wife, Joyce Dodson of the home, son, Cody Kettler, and mother, Dorothy Kettler. He was preceded in death by his father, Dalton Kettler, his late wife, Marsha Kettler, and brother, Gary Kettler.
