Larry Allan Kiles passed away peacefully at home on February 10, 2026, at the age of 76. He was born on October 3, 1949 in Angola, Indiana, to the late Leland and Lela M. Kiles. Larry lived a life marked by a strong work ethic, and a charismatic wit that left an impression on everyone he knew or met.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Diane Kiles (Salem, OR), along with his siblings: Sharon (and husband Dave) Armey, of South Bend, IN; and Billie Hart, of Woodburn, IN. His surviving children include his son, Lance Kiles of Wawaka, IN; and daughters Jenni Hubbard of Louisville, KY; Kristy (and husband Barry) McKinley, of Hudson, IN; and Gail (and husband Matt) Krumenauer, of Salem, OR.
Larry was the incredibly proud grandfather to 10, and great-grandfather to 10. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Harold Hart, and great-grandson Houston Smith.
Larry’s spirit and humor will be forever remembered among his extended family and friends across Indiana, Michigan, Colorado, Wisconsin, Oregon, and beyond. A celebration of life will be held in Indiana later this year to share the many fond memories he enjoyed with friends and family.
