Larry Kinder Obituary

Larry Dean Kinder, age 83, formerly of West Virginia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was born in Ashford, West Virginia on May 13, 1940 the son of the late Delmer and Martha (Smith) Kinder. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lowell Gene Kinder. Larry retired from The West Virginia Department of Highways. He was an avid sports enthusiast and loved to go on a nice drive and travel. Above all, he was a kind and devoted son, husband, and father. His survivors include his wife of 62 years, Christine Kinder, and his children, Larry Sean Kinder (Valerie), and Martha Renee Kinder. A private graveside will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023 at Bowling Green Gardens. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to The Alzheimer's Association in memory of his late father. Arrangements have been entrusted to J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel, Bowling Green, Kentucky.

To the Kinder Family.
May Larry now rest in peace and God comfort your mixed emotions at this time.
We lost my mother to Alzheimer's this past December.
Larry worked with me a lifetime ago at The Department Of Highways.
He always had something amusing to talk about. :)
