Larry Lingle Obituary

Larry L. Lingle, 76, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 4th, 2025, peacefully at his home in Mechanicsburg. He was born on December 18, 1948, in Harrisburg, to the late Russell and Emma (Aigler) Lingle. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Virginia (Bruckhart) Lingle, his daughter Rebecca Hoffmaster (James), and his grandson Gabriel. Services will be held on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025, at Hetrick-Bitner Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 A.M., officiated by Pastor Dennis Sproull. Following a meal, the graveside service will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.

I met Larry at AvalonCon many years ago. We became friends right away. I remember once, I was in financial distress, he quietly handed me some cash. That is the kind of person he was. I will miss him. I wish I had known sooner about his death, so I am a bit late in sending my condolences to his family.
