We were paperboys together around 1967 or so. When many years passed I would run into him at a Dunkin's, where we would mutually recognize each other for a friendly "how are you and such." He told me he was with 103 and I told him that I was an electrician for Raytheon. I know what kind of money he made in the union. Yet Larry delivered papers 7 days a week for not more the 5 dollars per week, plus nickel and dime tips like myself. So glad to know that he had retired 5 years ago and I am hoping the majority of that time was spent with family in fairly good health I can only hope. This hits harder than one may think reading this, I am 1 year his senior and it makes me realize everyday is a gift at my age. My best wishes for the Marini family who indeed has a lot to bear in this difficult time. I learned of Larry's passing at Mass several days after the services.

Sorry for your loss.
I knew Larry growing up down the Lake. We both lived close to Hawthorne Park.

I am both shocked and saddened to hear of Larry's passing.
I knew Larry both personally and professionally for 35 years and have nothing but respect for his memory and good thoughts of our friendship.
Larry was a hard working intelligent electrician who had both the mechanical talent and people skills to be an excellent project leader. Larry took his responsibilities very seriously with a Tough but Fair work ethic, much to the benefit of his work crews and employers alike. Larry successfully managed many large scale complex projects during his working years and always produced a top quality job that anyone could be proud to include on their resume'.
You will be missed my friend!
Godspeed to you.

Unbelievably sad with the passing of Larry. The news was shocking & I am in shock & confusion knowing such a strong powerful man is no longer with us. I met Larry twice. The first time as a young 9 year old boy in 1979 and then as a young teenager in 1989. He was kind with his words and generous with his time. I will always remember Larry. My deepest condolences to his family sister & brother.
