Larry McDaniel Obituary
He is survived by his daughter, Tracy (Troy) Hatfield, of Lexington, son, Shannon (Julie) McDaniel, of Lawrenceburg, sister, Cheryl Ann McDaniel, of Lexington, grandchildren, Ashley (Derek) Olson and Aidan Riley McDaniel. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Penny McDaniel, sister, Patricia Smith and nephew, David Soard.
Larry was an avid fisherman and loved hunting. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran and cherished his time with his family and dear friends. Larry was especially devoted to his grandchildren, Aidan and Ashley. He was a grateful member of a 12-step program for over 33 years.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 PM on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Bluegrass Intergroup.
