Larry G. McIntosh 68 years old born June 7, 1957, gained his angel wings on Tuesday March 3, 2026 at 12:40pm at Baptist Health Lexington, KY. While in ICU, he passed away from a difficult battle with cancer.

Larry was the son of Willie and Eva McIntosh. He was born and raised in Estill Co, but resided throughout his adult years with his wife and children in Madison Co.

He is survived by Sherry McIntosh his beautiful wife and high school sweetheart of 49 years, 2 children and the 'pride & joy' of his life, Chasity Peavie (Jeremy), and Brandon McIntosh (Sherry Gabbard McIntosh), 5 beautiful grandchildren that he loved and was so proud of, Brooklyn McIntosh, Brianna McIntosh, Hannah Peavie, Bradley Peavie, and Ashlee Peavie, 7 Siblings, Millard McIntosh (Ona), Russell McIntosh (Emma), Marshall McIntosh (Mildred), Jim McIntosh (Linda), Eugene McIntosh (Wanda), Linda Howell, Roger McIntosh (Ann), Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Larry loved his father and mother-in-law Ronnie and Margaret Barnes, and sister-in-law Rhonda Ballard.

In addition to his late parents,

Larry is preceded in death by his siblings, Arthur McIntosh, Willie Mae Tipton, and Ray McIntosh.

Larry was a railroader for CSX for many years and later became an auctioneer. He pastored Turning Point Apostolic Church in Ravenna, KY for 10 years. He spent much time visiting hospitals and praying for the sick. He was a man of much faith, and was the current Bishop at TPA of Ravenna.

He loved helping people and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He was a lifelong UK basketball fan. He loved going to bin stores, yard selling, and auctions. He was an avid Bybee and Waco pottery collector and loved his antiques.

In the summer and fall he looked forward to camping with his family. He loved his dog Mac and took pride in the tricks he had taught him. He was known for his delicious "taters" that he made for everyone to enjoy.

He was a devout family man, had many close friends, and loved his church family dearly. He lived, breathed, and believed the truth of Gods word with every fiber of his being, and preached it with all his might.

His very special friends were Ray Mills, Gerald Rader, and Mike Adams. He will be greatly missed by so many. He leaves a huge gap in our lives that nobody will be able to fill. He was simply an amazing human being.

Services will be held at Turning Point Apostolic Church on: Saturday March 7, 2026. 10:00am-12:00pm visitation

12:00pm funeral service

Rev. William McGraw officiating.

Graveside Ceremony and burial will be held at Flatwoods Cemetery in Waco, KY.

The Turning Point Apostolic Church is located at 735 Cow Creek Rd. Ravenna, KY 40472

I sorry for your loss of such a precious man who I saw at Margaret and Ronnies store they ran on White oak also the store Larry and Sherry had at W We had lots of fun times Larry certainly had one of the sweetest kindest most caring souls and I have never forgotten about his and Sherry's courting days . Sherry was his one true love and He spent lots of times at the Little Country store on White Oak and Margaret and Ronnies home. I know he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.Until We meet again .
