Larry Meeks Obituary
Mr. Meeks was born in Thomaston, GA, on June 10, 1943, to the late Grady Maurice Meeks and the late Martha Bailey Meeks. He was a 1961 graduate of R. E. Lee Institute where he was the ROTC Battalion Commander. He was awarded a scholarship to Washington and Lee University where he earned his undergraduate degree, and he then went on to Columbia Law School. Upon his graduation, he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army and served in Vietnam. After many years of practice, Mr. Meeks retired from the firm of Pircher, Nichols, and Meeks, LLP. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Thomaston.
Mr. Meeks is survived by several cousins and many friends

I worked for Larry from 1984 - 1989 as his Secretary. He was one of the kindest and smartest people I've ever worked for. For some reason, I was thinking of him today and discovered that he had recently passed. My condolences to the family. RIP Larry.
