Larry L. Moyer, 72, of RD Pottsville, passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill E. Norwegian Street, Pottsville.
Larry was born Sept. 9, 1950, in Allentown, a son of the late Carrie (Moyer) and Charles Moyer.
He last worked as a salesperson at Sears.
Larry was a Penn State master gardener and a member of the South Schuylkill Garden Club and Schuylkill County Conservancy. He was a superb photographer and was listed in the Who's Who of Photography.
Larry is survived by his significant other, Jeanne Zulick, RD Pottsville, and an aunt, Dorothy Moyer, of Kutztown.
Celebration of Life memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at Geschwindt-Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, with a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions to Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA, 18 Wertz Drive, Pine Grove, PA 17963. It's hard to believe a year has gone by since Larry's passing. He will always be remembered by this Master Gardener whose life was enriched with his knowledge and passion for gardening....and BUGS! For me, Larry will live on in nature forever. RIP, my friend.
