Larry Neely Obituary
Larry received his primary and secondary education in Gary, Indiana. He graduated from Emerson High School.
Larry enjoyed playing cards. He loved telling jokes and joking around and spending quality time with his family.
Larry loved life, his family and friends and there wasn't anything that he wouldn't do for them. He also loved to dance and knew how to dress.
Larry was a free spirited, caring and a character, a jack of all trades, a very humble person, strong and never let 'em see him sweat. He was ambitious, thoughtful and will be truly missed.
Larry departed this earthly life on January 28, 2023, at the age of sixty-five years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, Haywood Carpenter and Minnie (Neely) Carpenter, and brother Carl Carpenter.
He leaves to his to cherish memory his son, Larry Haywood Williams; two grandchildren, NaTodjea Frye and Laqaunt Williams; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Latanya Carpenter, LaShawnda Morris (Maurice) and Myesha Finch (Donte); brothers, Reginald and Eric Carpenter; special brother, Greg Collins (Linda); and a host of other relatives and friends.
