Larry Edward Nolan, 87, of Independence, KY, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was a 1955 graduate of Holy Cross High School in Covington, KY, where he was an accomplished baseball catcher. Larry was proud to serve as a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. He retired after 30+ years of service as a Controller with the former K.D. Lamp Company in Cincinnati, OH. Larry enjoyed coaching baseball in the Dixie Knothole League and attending his family's sporting events. His passion in life was spending time with his family. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; son: Timmy Nolan; grandson: Ryan Nolan and 3 brothers. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years: Patty Nolan; children: Denny (Kathy) Nolan, Sharon Nolan Zuhars, Jacki (Danny) Arnado, Tommy (Karen) Nolan and Todd (Carla) Nolan; 3 sisters; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Memorial Visitation will take place on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the Catholic Prayer Service at 12:00 PM (Noon), followed by an Honor Guard Service at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the SMA Foundation c/o curesma.org in memory of Larry's grandson, Ryan Nolan. Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 is serving the family. Online condolences may be expressed on Facebook or at www.connleybrothersfuneralhome.com
