Larry Dean 'Deanie' Osbey was the second born to William Henry (deceased) and Ada Ann (Johnson) Osbey on September 19, 1960. After a battle with cancer, he departed this life on Monday, June 9, 2025. Deanie attended District 4 Anderson County Schools and has always lived in Anderson County.
To celebrate life, Larry leaves a loving mother, Ada Ann Johnson Osbey; sisters, Barbara Osbey Vance of Pendleton, SC, Sheila Osbey Smith (James) of Augusta, GA, Tammy Osbey Lance (Perry) of Gastonia, NC, Darlene Williams (Ronald) of Anderson, SC, Angela Blassingame of Greenville, SC; son, Larry Donnell Osbey of Riverdale, GA; daughter, Jennifer Hunter of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Henry, and Josephine (Hunter) Osbey, and Memphis and Magdalene (Greenlee) Johnson, father, William H Osbey, sister, Lisa Stowers, brother, Steve Osbey and son, Landis O'Neal Osbey.
The funeral service for Mr. Osbey will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Mtn. Springs Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Public Viewing: Monday, June 16, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the mortuary.
The family is at 1556 Five Forks Road, Pendleton, SC 29670. Visitation hours for the family home will be from 12:00 noon until 7:00 pm each day.
