Larry Max Peach
1942-2025
Larry Max Peach, 82, of Lincoln, Neb. died Friday, May 2, 2025. Born in Superior, Neb. to Clyde and Mae (Hetherington) Peach. The family moved to Lincoln when he was just a few weeks old. He graduated from Southeast High School.
Married Mary Schwindt in 1963. He was employed with the federal government at Lincoln Air Force Base. In 1965, Larry was transferred to Hill Air Force Base in Utah where he worked as an aircraft electrician on the F16 fighter jet. He went on to become an equipment specialist.
After retirement in 2006, the couple moved back to Lincoln where Larry started part-time work as delivery driver for Russ's and The Mill. He always enjoyed being around people.
Member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where he was a deacon and helped in the Food Pantry.
Survived by his wife, Mary; children, Lisa (Steve) McConnell, Matthew (Cheri) Peach, Mark (Melissa) Peach; grandchildren, William and Louisa McConnell, Chloe, Thomas, Joel Peach and Noelle, Luke, Max and Leo Peach.
Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard Peach.
Memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 7 at 2 p.m., at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2110 Sheridan Blvd, Lincoln.
Memorials to Westminster Presbyterian Church or to the family for future designation.
