He was born in Isle of Wight County, Virginia on September 5, 1949 to parents Mills Rawles and Irma Thompson. He worked for Crop Production Services in Ivor, Virginia as a chemical applicator for 40 years.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents Mills Rawles and Irma Thompson; brothers David, Jimmy, and Terry and his sister Debbie. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Sue Rawles; daughter Kristen Rawles; son Jerry Dew Jr.(Sherry) sister Lori Ann Bunch; granddaughter Ashleigh Makovsky and great grandchildren Korbin, Kayden and Olivia.
Before retiring to Florida, Larry was a member of First Pentecostal Church of Suffolk, Virginia now known as New Life Apostolic Church. He was an active member of Eastwind Pentecostal Church in Palm Bay, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the charity of your choice in his name. No memorial services have been set at this time.
