ENOSBURG - Larry Raymond, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, February 28th, 2024 at the Northwestern Medical Center with his family by his side.
Larry was born in Fletcher on August 3, 1942 to Linford and Germaine (Bedard) Raymond.
Larry was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was a resident of Enosburg and worked within the community at various occupations including Agway, Swanton Lime, S.T. Griswold, Nutrena Feeds, and for Ivan Charboneau as a truck driver. Larry inherited the family farm at a very young age from his parents, Louise and Larry started the farm with 1 cow. Larry also served his country proudly as a member of the National Guard for six years. His commitment to his job and his country reflected his loyalty and dedication to everything he set out to do.
Larry will be deeply missed by his wife Louise Raymond, with whom he shared many cherished memories and moments of love. Their bond was one of unwavering support and care for each other, creating a strong foundation of partnership that will forever endure.
Larry is survived by his wife Louise Raymond; daughters, Kimberley St. Pierre and her husband Norman, Wendy Paradis; sons, Brian Raymond and his wife Heather, Scott Raymond, Patrick Raymond and his wife Courtney; grandchildren, Chelsea, Jordan, Conner, Jeanessa, Brandon, Brett, Brodie, Zackary, Mikaela, Pierre, Jack, Emma, Holly, Kyle, Amelia; great grandchildren, Willow, Wilder, Harlen, Gavin, Watson, Rayne, James, Raelee, Laine; sister, Alice Machia and her husband Larry; brother-in-laws, Kenneth Wells and Stephen Wells Sr.; and his beloved canine companion, Ginger.
Besides his parents, Linford and Germaine Raymond, Larry was predeceased by his great granddaughter, Ryleigh St. Pierre; infant sibling, Jean Marie Raymond; in-laws, Leroy and Beatrice Wells.
Family and friends will be invited to Larry's life celebration to include a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, March 7th, 2024 at 11:00AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 62 Missisquoi Street, Enosburg Falls, VT 05450. Interment will be held this spring at St. George's Catholic Cemetery.
