Mr. Larry Norman Richardson, age 90 of Elberton Georgia passed away on March 9, 2025 at his home.
He was born on July 5, 1934 in Elberton Georgia to the late Mr. Mahlon O. Richardson and Mrs. Pearl King Richardson. With a great heart and love for his country, he enlisted into the United States Army 82nd Airborn Division also served as a National Guardsman. He was a member of Sons of the American Revolution and a member of the American Legion Post #109. He worked in later years for Owens Corning Fiberglass and was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed wood carving with amazing productions. He also made specialty turkey calls. He loved to hunt and most especially loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memory are, his wife Martha Perry Richardson, his children, Lara (Tim) Gaines and Kevin (Stephanie) Richardson, all of Elberton Georgia, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and funeral service will follow in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E Johnson Street, Hartwell, GA 30643. Burial will follow at the Cokesbury United Methodist Church cemetery, 2207 Cokesbury Highway, Hartwell Georgia 30643.
