Larry Frank Robinson was born on March 13, 1953 to Sam and Grace Stricklin Robinson in Selmer, Tennessee. He departed this life on September 16, 2023 in Savannah, Tennessee.

Larry attended school at the old McNairy County High School in Selmer. He was employed through the City of Savannah and Hardin Medical Center. He was well known in his community as a man who sold all things, hence the nickname "Mr. Haney", which became his alternative name.

Larry loved all music but his top pick was Ole School Blues. In his younger age, he was a member of a local band and he was featured as the lead vocalist. Other than his love for music, he loved the Lord and spoke often of Him as his Lord and Savior.

He leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter, Melissa Robinson of Savannah, Tennessee; one son, Jeremy Allen Robinson (Elizabeth) of Savannah, Tennessee; two grandsons, Elijah Robinson and Hunter Robinson, both of Savannah, Tennessee; one granddaughter, Brinleigh Robinson of Savannah, Tennessee; sister, Melinda Sanders of Selmer, Tennessee; brother, James Robinson of Chicago, Illinois; mother in law, Claudine Irons of Savannah, Tennessee; adopted son, Demarcus Turner; step daughter, Kamela Arnold (Terrance) of Henderson, Tennessee; step grandson, Tamarr (TJ) Arnold of Henderson, Tennessee; step granddaughter, Talayeah Arnold of Henderson, Tennessee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that will miss Larry dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Grace Robinson; grandparents, Shed and Ellie Chambers and Minnie Westbrooks; daughter, Clarissa Robinson; brothers, Arnold Stricklin, Wendell Robinson, and Pius Robinson; sisters, Mable Robinson Roberts, Minnie Jo Robinson Cherry, Louise Robinson, and Lillie Ruth Robinson; and the mothers of his children, Bobbie Bailey Robinson and Brenda Farris Robinson.
