Larry Eugene Roe
March 25, 1941 – September 18, 2024
Larry was born on March 25, 1941 in Matagorda County, Texas to Howard and Glennie Roe, who were both shrimpers by trade. From them he gained his love for fishing, a passion he enjoyed sharing with his friends and family. For Larry, family and friends were always first, but fishing was a close second.
In the early 60's, Larry worked for the city of Angleton and volunteered for the Angleton Fire Dept. For the next 45 years he made many friends while he worked as Safety Director for US Contractors / Infinity / Wood Group. From 1975-1997 he worked part-time as Deputy Marshall for Oyster Creek, TX.
He is predeceased by his wife Mary Roe and survived by his daughters, Vicki Roe (Denice), Tambra Anderson (Jon); grandchildren Tabitha Musquiz (Donald), Katie Toner (Zach), Chadwick Anderson (Ashley). Great Grandchildren, Austin, Connor & Zoe Turcios, Keegan Anderson, Justice Phelps, Braylee Anderson, Harper, Hudson & Hayes Anderson, Joshua & Xavier Musquiz.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Larry's viewing at Stroud Funeral Home on Sunday 9-22-24 at 1:00 p.m. Funeral service following at 2:00 p.m.
