Larry N. Shababb

Larry N. Shababb, 72, of Danbury, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.
Larry was born in Danbury, CT on October 30, 1952; a son of the late Abraham and Mary Kalayci (Imbaid) Shababb.
A life-long resident of Danbury, Larry graduated from Danbury High School in 1971 and went on to attend Western Connecticut State University. Following college, Larry worked as a Laboratory Technician for the Main Medical Laboratory and Quest Diagnostics and later worked at Colonial Mazda. He was a member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church. Larry was an avid fisherman, as well as a devoted fan of the Minnesota Vikings and NASCAR racing.
Larry is survived by his brother, George Shababb and his wife, Elissa as well as his sister, Barbara Dell'Orso. In addition to his siblings, Larry is survived by his nephew Thomas Dell'Orso III, four nieces, Lauren Segura, Sherrye Segura, Danielle Altman and Jessica Dell'Orso as well as many cousins. In addition to his parents, Larry was predeceased by his brother-in-law Thomas Dell'Orso Jr. and his nephew Bryan Dell'Orso.
The Rite of Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 10:00 AM in Saint George Antiochian Orthodox Church; 125 Kohanza Street, Danbury, CT. Interment will follow in Wooster Cemetery, Danbury, CT. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Saint George Church from 9:00 AM until the time of the funeral service.
