Larry Wayne Shaw, 83, of Flora, IL passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born on June 11, 1942 in Norris City, the son of Carl W. and Vercia (Gwaltney) Shaw. Larry worked as a Manufacturing Engineer for Chrysler for over 44 years. Following his retirement in 2007, he spent time mowing yards in his neighborhood, hunting, and fishing.
Larry is survived by his children, Randy (Tara) Shaw of Norris City, Angela (Douglas) Shain of Norris City, and Andrea Lynn Martin of Norris City; siblings, Patricia (Mike) Upton and Garry (Mary Ann) Shaw; grandchildren, Dylan (Abby) Martin, Devin York, Danielle (Joe) Kuhlmann, Ciara (David) Dodd, and Morgan (Justin) Dartt; great-grandchildren, Boone, Rosa, Mercy, Hudson, Hayes, Ethan, Emerson, Collin, Warren, and Elsie; along with several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sandra Lee Shaw.
Memorial services for Larry W. Shaw, 83, of Flora, will be held at a later time. Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City is assisting the family with arrangements.
