Larry D. Shriner, 84, of Goshen, passed away Monday, Jan. 26, 2026, at his home.
He was born June 16, 1941, in Goshen to Lester and Mildred (Weaver) Shriner.
On Sept. 11, 1959, he married Phyllis Mullet in Wakarusa.
She survives along with daughters Esther Marie (Jimmy) Balser, Texas, and Lisa M. (Chuck) Wilcox, Goshen; a son, Tom D. (Thresa) Shriner, Elkhart; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are a sister, Sharon Stoll, Elkhart, and brothers Stan (Jean) Shriner, Goshen, and Randy (Merideth) Shriner, Elkhart.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Sue Bowman and Gloria Bontrager, and a brother, Brian Shriner.
Larry owned and drove his own semi-truck for many years. This allowed him to see many beautiful areas of the United States. In his down time and after retirement he enjoyed woodworking.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 4, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, where a 1 p.m. funeral service will be conducted Thursday, Feb. 5. The Rev. Dr. Gregg Lanzen will officiate.
Burial will follow at Olive Cemetery, Elkhart.
Memorial gifts may be directed to the family to offset expenses.
