Larry Spencer Simpson

Larry Spencer Simpson, age 75 of Roanoke, Virginia, departed this life on February 25, 2023, at Raleigh Health and Rehabilitation. He was born on November 25, 1947, to the late Alfred and Cynthia Simpson in Sparta, North Carolina.
Larry accepted the Lord as his personal Savior and was a devoted Christian. He ministered and taught the word of God to all who came in contact with him. He'd counsel those who were seeking deliverance and salvation.
He was employed with Kroger's Warehouse and later with Sam's Club, where he'd retire after several years of service.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Simpson; mother, Cynthia Ann Finney Simpson; four sisters, Eva Sue Simpson, Ella Phipps, Cynthia Marie Simpson, and Alice Pearl Washington; and six brothers, Lewis Simpson, Dillard Simpson, Jerry Simpson, Frank Simpson, James Simpson, and John Mark Simpson.
Larry leaves to cherish his memory and carry on his legacy, his two sons, Derrick Simpson and Bryan Simpson; one brother, Charles Simpson (Ruth); two granddaughters, Bryonna Simpson, and Laniya Simpson; one grandson, Tarell Simpson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
