Larry Shannon Singleton, 83, of Eubank, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at Rockcastle Health & Rehab.
Larry was born on October 28, 1941 to the late Lemont and Zella (Wesley) Singleton in Eubank, Kentucky. He was the Co-Owner and Founder of Singleton Plumbing & Electric. He was in business for 61 years. He was a member of Singletontown First Church of God.
He is survived by his children, Nancy & (Allen) Hart of Eubank, KY, Mike & (Nicole) Singleton of Eubank, KY, Greg & (Esther) Barron of Somerset, KY, and Gwen & (Terry) Blanton of Eubank, KY; his brothers, Loyal Singleton and Bobby Singleton of Eubank, KY; a sister, Glenda Griffin of Eubank, KY; nine grandchildren, Josh & (Melissa) Hart, Heather & (Tim) Baker, Eric & (Kelli) Hart, TJ & (Felicia) Blanton, Amber & (Shawn) Adkins, Jessie Hart, Amanda & (Cody) Keith, Emily Singleton, and Abbigayle Singleton; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet "Jenny" (Loveless) Singleton; his parents, Lemont & Zella Singleton; a son, Kenny Singleton; two brothers, Forrest Singleton and Clyde Singleton; and one grandson.
A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Singletontown First Church of God with Bro. Jake Eldridge officiating.
Burial will follow at Singleton Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5PM-8PM on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
