Larry K. Stirewalt

Mr. Larry Keith Stirewalt, 74, passed away Friday, July 25, 2025, in Salisbury.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 am Friday, August 1, 2025, at Mount Moriah Lutheran Church. Pastor Tim Kneuss will officiate. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 pm Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Larry was born April 27, 1951 in Mooresville. He was the son of the late Paul Brown Stirewalt and Sarah Ann London Stirewalt. He was a 1969 graduate of South Rowan High School and later graduated from Rowan Tech with a degree in Heating and Air Conditioning. He held a General Contractor License and Plumbing License. He started working the first day after high school graduation, working for 56 years in many areas of construction including bricklaying, floor sanding, new home construction, remodeling and plumbing. He owned and operated Larry Stirewalt LLC. He was a jack of all trades and truly enjoyed helping others. He was a lifelong member of Mount Moriah Lutheran Church, where he was baptized and confirmed.

Larry is survived by his wife of 47 years, Janet Pless Stirewalt, honored to have his three sons, Jacob Allen Stirewalt (Sarah), Adam Thomas Stirewalt, Andrew James Stirewalt, all of China Grove; sister, Kathy S. Webb (Jackie) of Salisbury; two granddaughters, Maggie Ann and Mollie Lynn; and many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
