Stiteler, Larry, - 65, of Mays Landing, It is with great sadness that the family of Larry Scott Stiteler announces his passing after a two-year battle with throat cancer, on September 15th, 2023, at the age of 65. Larry passed peacefully sitting on a park bench with family, watching the sunset. Founder of East Coast Roofing, Siding & Windows, Larry was born on September 21st, 1957, and lived the remainder of his years between Mays Landing, New Jersey, and his home in Guatemala. He is survived by his sons Larry (Sarah) of Santa Cruz, Guatemala, and Shawn (Karrie) of Mays Landing, NJ., he was blessed with three grandchildren: Daniel, Collette, and EmmaLyn. Additionally, he is survived by his former wives: Larry's first wife Jodi Littleton (mother of Larry and Shawn Stiteler) and her son Tony, and his second wife Linda Stiteler, whom he maintained a beloved friendship, and her children Bryant (Emily) Little, Alyssa (Joey) Italiano, & Trevor Little and grandchildren: Stella, Joseph, Lottie, and Vienna. Larry is one of five children. He leaves behind his mother, Elizabeth, and sister, Betty, both of Linwood, brothers Albert (Karen) of Northfield, Paul (Joann) of Egg Harbor Township, and John of Orlando, Florida. Additionally, he is survived by his uncle Jack Lloyd of Northfield whom he loved dearly, along with many nieces and nephews. Larry is predeceased by his father Albert Harry Stiteler, his nephews Paul Stiteler and Jason Stiteler, and brother-in-law, Robert Karrer. Larry will be missed by many dear friends both near and far, who will forever cherish his memory and the many good times shared. He was fun loving and especially enjoyed adventure and traveling with family and friends. He was often seen sitting on his boat in the middle of the river, just enjoying the peaceful water view. Known for his many excursions all over the world, Larry settled in Santa Cruz, Guatemala. There he was well-known for his philanthropic works of establishing clinics and feeding centers. He was passionate about missions at home as well as abroad. He participated in Atlantic City Covenant House "Sleep-Outs," served on the Atlantic City Rescue Mission Board, and is the founder of the Annual Free-Roof Giveaway that was established through Larry's company. Larry's mission was to make a worldwide difference, and he truly accomplished this throughout his life journey.

Larry was a long-time active member at Fresh Start Church 1049 Ocean Heights Avenue, Egg Harbor Twp where family and friends may gather on September 27th at 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. viewing, service following from 12 to 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, for those who desire, the family is requesting donations in Larry's memory be sent to the Atlantic City Rescue Mission. Larry believed in "The Mission" and it was one of his favorite charities.
