Larry Orr Streadwick

Larry Orr Streadwick, age 86, of Sandwich, IL passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. He was born on December 8, 1935 in Geneva, IL the son of Henry and Florence (Orr) Streadwick.
Mr. Streadwick was united in marriage on June 30, 1960 to Sandra L. Halfpenny and they spent the next 47 years happily married until her passing March 10, 2008. He served his country proudly as a veteran of the United States Army. He was employed for 46 years as a Die Maker with Container Corporation of America. He loved his country music, fishing, and playing cards. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Nothing was more important to him than his family. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Larry is survived by his children, Barbara Vestuto of Oshkosh, Wi, Cheryl Johnson of Dunedin, FL, Stefanie Mila of Leland, IL, Carolyn Streadwick of Naperville, IL, Jennifer (Carlos) Payne, Yorkville, IL; his eighteen grandchildren; and his eighteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Florence Streadwick; his wife, Sandra L. Streadwick; his son and daughter-in-law, James and Diane Koeritz; his granddaughter; and his five siblings.
Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1275 S. Countyline Road, Sandwich, IL. Interment will be private.
Friends may visit from 4:00 PM until the Hour of Service on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at the Nelson Funeral Home in Sandwich, IL.
