Larry Sundberg Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 2, 2025.
Larry D. Sundberg, age 64, of Curtis Township, MI., passed away peacefully at his home on September 30, 2025. Larry was born on March 21, 1961, in Garden City, MI., to the late Albert and Ruth (Sakkinen) Sundberg.

Larry was a drywall finisher by trade. He worked for DANCO Company for many years. He married the love of his life, Tammey (Heilig) Sundberg in 1996. They lived in Alcona County for many years where Larry enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an all-around outdoor guy spending as much time as possible outdoors. He liked cutting wood too and would cut wood for friends, family, and local businesses. Because of Larry's background in construction, he could fix pretty much anything around home. More than anything else he loved spending time with family and friends.

Larry is survived by his wife, Tammey; children, Bailey Sundberg, Randy Reece, and Raymond (McKenzie) Sundberg; brothers, Dwayne, Rodney, Roger, Allan; sisters, Konnie, Donna, Sheri; daughter-in-law, Matilda Sundberg; grandchildren, Adrianna, Brady, Jodi, Zoey, Colt, and many nieces and nephews.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents; son, Allan Reece; sister, Sandy; brother, Gary. Family will host services on Saturday, October 4, 2025, 2:00pm at the Curtisville Civic Center with Pastor Ted officiating. There will be a luncheon to follow.
