Larry Walker Jr., 54, passed away on Monday, January 5,2026 at his home in Ashtabula.
He was born August 2, 1971 In Lake Wale, FL, Son of Larry Walker Sr and Connie Trent.
Larry was a man who loved in his own way - honest, steady, and deeply real. He was very opinionated and never afraid to speak his mind, but his words always came from a place of caring. He wanted the people he loved to be strong, protected, and ready for life, and that was how he showed his love.
He was a man of many skills and a hardworking soul. Whatever he took on, he gave it his all. He loved sports in general and was a proud Pittsburgh Steelers fan. His favorite saying, "I'm the best there is, the best there was, and the best there will be," captured his confidence, humor, and strong spirit - a reflection of the way he lived life on his own terms.
Larry was a family man at heart. Everyone had their own special bond with him - their own inside jokes, quiet talks, and memories that will never fade. He had a way of making people feel seen in his own simple way, and even the smallest things he did often made difficult days feel easier.
Helping others was part of who he was. Even when he didn't have much, he would still give. Even when it wasn't convenient, he would still show up. That quiet kindness spoke louder than words ever could.
One of the greatest loves of his life was his wife, Iva Walker. Losing her changed him, but it never took away the love he had for her. He believed with all his heart that one day they would be together again - not just for a moment, but forever, in peace, with no more goodbyes.
Larry's legacy is not just in the years he lived, but in the people he loved and those he left behind.
Larry is survived by his dear son, Larry Santilli and his one and only beloved daughter in law Crystal Hoplight; Along with his step-sons, Harry (Debbie) Baldwin Ill and Matthew (Amy Fazekag) Baldwin. He also left his love and legacy behind be with his grandchildren, Larry Santilla Jr., Nathaniel Baldwin, Devon Gregory, Emily Baldwin, Cody Baldwin, Amber Baldwin, and Drake Plenlight; Along with his only brother James (Lois) Trent who he had a strong bond with growing up. and His Aunt Sheri Spurlock who was more of a sister to him than an aunt with an unbreakable bond; and his niece Sherie Benson and His Nephew Marivn Benson whom he had special bonds with along with plenty of other nieces and Nephews and Cousins.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Iva (Lucy) Walker. Along with his mother, step father, and his father, Connie Trent Jim Trent and Larry Walker Sr. And one of his beloved sons Dakota James Walker.
May he rest in eternal peace with his beloved family who is up there with him and his Legacy forever live in with those who he left behind, the stories, the memories, The greatest joy of life to never be forgotten but always be remembered.
