Larry Allen Webber, 74, of Tama, passed away, Sunday, February 22, 2026 at his home under the care of Cedar Valley Hospice. A Celebration of Life will be held in late spring.

Larry Webber was born on July 19, 1951 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Robert and Camilla (Buker) Webber.

Larry graduated in 1969 from Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids.

On April 22, 1972 he married Berty Jacobsen in Tama, Iowa. Larry started work at Fisher Control in Marshalltown in September 1974 and retired after 36 years in September 2010. During his employment he served as a time study steward and the recording secretary for the UAW 893. During the years, Larry and Berty enjoyed many fishing trips to Canada. They also took fall trips trout fishing in Northeast Iowa. He and Berty went on cruises to the Caribbean and Alaska. He also enjoyed an occasional visit to the Meskwaki Casino. Larry played in many bands over the years performing for dances all over the area. He was a member of the Tama Toledo Eagles for many years.

Larry was a loving husband to Berty for nearly 54 years. He was a fun uncle to Matt, Sean (Renee), Lori, Nic, Sarah, Devon (Jessica), Andy (Jamie) and Stefanie (Kyle). He is also survived by his brothers Steve (Chris) and Donnie and sisters-in-law Becky Strahl and Vicki (Jack) DeAngelo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Camilla, father and mother-in-law, Bob and Jeanne Jacobsen, sister Colleen Lewis and brother-in-law Carroll Strahl.

Larry will be remembered for his sense of humor, generosity and willingness to lend a helping hand. The family thanks the staff of Cedar Valley Hospice for their kindness and support.
