Larry R. Werner, age 64 of Highland, IL, died Friday, February 23, 2024, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Highland, IL.
He was born on Wednesday, February 3, 1960, in Highland, IL, the son of Raymond and Cornelia "Connie" (nee Korte) Werner.
Larry was born and raised in Highland, IL; graduated from Highland High School in 1978. He was a carpenter for Korte Construction for a short time. He then began driving a truck for The Producers "ESPN"; later TMCI-Highland and then Trouw Nutrition. He retired as a carpenter, working construction with his brother. He enjoyed Pheasant hunting with his father; his pet dogs and camping.

Brother - Garry A. (Significant Other-Linda Wiese) Werner, Highland, IL

Nephew - Justin R. (Tiffany) Zobrist
Niece - Rachel M. (Fiancé-Adam Ullrich) Werner
Nephew - Corey A. (Heather) Werner
Cathy's Daughter-Kelsey L. (Gary) Broadway
Great Niece - Norah L. Zobrist
Great Niece - Sawyer A. Zobrist
Great Niece - Alyda R. Zobrist
Great Nephew - Dean T. Zobrist
Great Niece - Ainsley M. Zobrist

Father - Raymond A. Werner - Died 02/07/2015.
Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
Private Visitation and Memorial Service will be held at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
Private Interment will be at Highland City Cemetery in Highland, IL.
Memorial contributions may be made to USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center or Donor's Choice.

Larry and Cathy welcomed us with open arms when we moved next to Highland. He was always so kind. I will miss our fence side chats. Rest well Larry. You were the best neighbor we could have asked for moving to an unknown place
