Robin Wheat Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Weber & Rodney Funeral Home on Feb. 4, 2026.
Robin C. Wheat, age 61, of Edwardsville, IL, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, at Alton Memorial hospital in Alton, IL. Robin was born on July 12, 1964, in Highland, IL, the daughter of the late Raymond L. & Margaret Faye (Smith) Wheat.

Robin is survived by her two children Samuel C. Crow & wife Paige, of Edwardsville, IL and Carson C. Crow & wife Sophia, of St. Louis, MO; two grandchildren whom happily referred to her as Birdie, Adam F. Crow and Alice E. Crow; a sister, Pamela Bauer & husband Marty, of Glen Carbon, IL; a brother, Russell Wheat & wife Linda, of Wanda, IL; nieces, Brittany Bauer of Pacific, MO, Erin Faye Montague of Wanda; nephews Rusty Wheat and Ian Wheat and her extremely beloved partner, Christopher Allen, of Collinsville, IL. Besides her parents, Robin was preceded in death by a brother, David Wheat; and a niece, Anna Bauer.

Robin was beautiful, fun-loving, sassy, very artistic and creative. She applied those talents to decorating all of her houses, painting beautiful gifts and crafting. She loved celebrations, especially Mardi Gras, and everyone was welcome. No one threw a better family gathering or party than she did. She loved her family, especially running errands with her daughter, Carson, spending time with her grandkids, traveling with her partner Chris and all things fashion, decorating, estate sale and other shopping-related with her sister, Pam.

Robin was a speech/language pathologist, most recently business manager of Anderson Rehabilitation Institute in Edwardsville. She delivered love, therapy, and support to all her patients and co-workers even driving past a patient's house in the limousine on her wedding day because she could not attend the service.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
