Funeral service for Larry Wilson of Mansura will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025 beginning at 10:00 am in Escude Funeral Home in Mansura. Interment will be held on a future date.
Visitation will begin at 9:00am and will conclude with the end of the funeral service at 11:00 am.
Larry Wilson was born on April 10, 1958, as a twin to the late Wilbert Sr. and Mildred Wilson. He confessed Christ and was baptized at an early age. He loved to dance and have a good time. Larry worked at the Cotton Gin, the Avoyelles Parish Barn, and the Fish Market throughout his life.
Larry shared 47 years with his soulmate, Jennifer Hill and to that union, they shared one son, Larry Francisco and 6 stepchildren.
Larry transitioned from his earthly home on Friday, November 7, 2025, surrounded by his family and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert Sr. and Mildred Wilson; 2 sisters, Ester Lee and Janice Wilson; 4 brothers, Michael Wilson, Dedrick Wilson, his twin Harold Wilson, and Mitchell Wilson, 1 step-grandchild; Ronald Francisco and 1 nephew, Shawn Wilson.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his soulmate, Jennifer Hill of Mansura, La, 1 son; Larry Francisco (Erica) of Zachary, LA; 4 stepdaughters: Sandy Reed (Tony), Alexis Francisco, and Melody Francisco all of Mansura, LA, and Jenny Francisco of Cottonport, LA; 2 stepsons: Tyrone Francisco and Alex Francisco both of Mansura, LA; 4 sisters: Brenda Faye Wilson, Althea Wilson, Gladys Wilson, all of Mansura, LA and Henrietta Wilson of Marksville, LA; 3 brothers: Gregory Wilson and Henry Wilson both of Mansura, LA and Wilbert Wilson Jr., of Orlando, FL; 3 sister-in-laws: Sandaquenette Francisco (Donald) and Lucy Jacobs (Billy) both of Mansura, LA and Velma Hill of New Orleans, LA; 2 brother-in-laws: Christopher Hill and his best friend, Honison Francisco of Mansura, LA; and his right-hand man, Charlie Sampson. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.
